Coach Hire Holiday to Paradise

The last holiday I took was a big success with a capital B. Forget Heathrow and the M25, think Somerset, cream tea and fresh air. My Beautiful coach holiday started on Sunday morning at the beginning of the Easter break. It started well, the pickup was right on time and local to where I live with my partner in Lewis. The coach driver opened the coach door and smiled a welcoming smile. He introduced himself ‘Nigel’, and then unhurriedly took out luggage and stowed it in the boot. As it happens we were the last pickup and so it was off onto the motorway.

The Coach was smart and airy, the seats comfortable and adaptable, which was a great relief for my partner ‘Jon’ with his back. He was also glad of the extra leg room we’d requested on booking the seats. So that was the start of a very enjoyable day. Usually when it comes to traveling we are both stressed and bickering by mid morning. As we had nothing to do but relax and look at the view, that is exactly what we did. It made a refreshing change for both of us ‘let the coach take the strain’, to miss quote a well worn expression. The coach was filled to capacity and felt roomy and spacious. Our seats had places to put our drinks and snacks. We were able to control our own air conditioning controls. Very useful when the sun was shining on Jon and I was in the shade (we were taking turns sitting in the window seat.

Nigel had done his homework and we had no hold ups on route, we had a coffee break at the Reading services and were quickly on our way. We got to the first hotel in Cheddar by tea time. The hotel we were staying had been two substantial cottages which had at sometime in their history, been combined into one. It was so beautiful, well kept and intelligently modified to make it comfortable without loosing that feeling of history. Full of energy and a gorgeous cream tea we coach travelers all took our own routes for the evening. Jon and I choose to walk to the Gorge which was only a moderate walk away. The shadows slowly lengthened and a feeling of peace and well being wrapped itself around us like a blanket. We strolled, arm in arm back to our small hotel feeling a gorgeous feeling of optimism.

Our holiday continued on in this vain for the whole idyllic week. We had had the choice on booking to coach holiday to do some day trips. We did do two, one to the moors and one to Minehead. The moors are like no where else in England, you could be in any century. There’s no sound, apart from the wind and your breath when you’re struggling up a gradient. The hotel had provided a local guide together with an enormous, tasty picnic. Both were much appreciated.

The Minehead day trip by coach was a great laugh. We had been able to time our trip to coincide with the Wassail, a ceremony that the locals perform every May Day. It’s an ancient ceremony performed to ensure good crops and the reenactment was done with great aplomb by the participants.
The coach journey home was as expected, pleasant and with no drama. The restful feeling was kept until the last. We couldn’t thank Nigel more. He was calm, professional and an excellent

Recent Rise In International Disputes Traced Back To Cute U.N. Tour Guide

NEW YORK—A recent spate of diplomatic conflicts around the globe has been linked to the hiring of an attractive tour guide by the United Nations, sources at the international organization's headquarters reported Monday.

Rachel Proxmire, an attractive blonde with a nice smile, has caused an estimated six civil wars.

Distractions caused by the cute, perky guide, 23-year-old Northwestern University graduate Rachel Proxmire, have been blamed for escalating tensions between Turkey and Armenia, Israel and Jordan, and the United States and North Korea, as well as for civil unrest in Honduras, Iran, and China.

"It's embarrassing," Turkish diplomat Hamit Ozan said. "One minute, I'm calmly explaining to the General Assembly our position on the alleged Armenian genocide, and the next, I see Rachel come in with a tour group and I get all flustered trying to think of something to say to get her to notice me. Before I know it, I've inadvertently acknowledged crimes my country has been denying for decades, and it's all over the news."

Added Ozan, "God, she's so pretty."

In March of this year, when Proxmire began her employment with the U.N., officials at the organization immediately noticed a lightened mood in the assembly hall, with many delegates smiling more and humming contentedly to themselves. Within a few weeks, though, the number and intensity of geopolitical disputes began to increase.

"She was…wow," Saudi delegate Ahmad Khouri said. "The first time I saw her, I was in the middle of speaking out on the deplorable treatment of the Palestinian people, and suddenly she caught my eye. I just completely lost my train of thought. She has that creamy, smooth skin—and that laugh! It's like music."

Perhaps most significantly, North Korea's increasingly hostile global relations have been traced to the tour guide, who was wearing a skirt when the Security Council placed sanctions on the country for a nuclear test it carried out in May.

"The North Korean representative was so busy staring at her that he just nodded in agreement when the council condemned his nation's weapons program and voted to freeze its assets," Eritrean diplomat Berihu Alazar said. "Then the guys from South Korea and Japan started razzing him about it, trying to look cool in front of her. He turned bright red all of a sudden and threatened to wipe everybody off the face of the earth."

"Whatever. Like any of those losers have a chance with Rachel," Alazar continued.

Proxmire's influence on international policy has not been entirely negative. In April, when it came to light that she was concerned about global warming, seven separate resolutions to limit carbon emissions were passed by an overwhelming majority. And earlier this month, delegates from all nations strengthened their ties by working jointly on an initiative to surprise the spritely blonde with cupcakes on her birthday.

"I'm completely smitten," said U.S. delegate Tony Gilbertson, smiling as he turned his gaze toward Proxmire. "I'd do anything for her."

Gilbertson later missed a crucial vote on a resolution that would have allowed the U.S. military to pursue Taliban militants into Pakistan, because he was in his office practicing the song he wrote for Rachel on his acoustic guitar.

According to U.N. sources, no diplomat has spoken directly with Proxmire at any length. The closest contact reportedly occurred when the French delegate asked her if he could borrow a pen, then ran away before she could respond.

"This is preposterous," Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said. "The member nations of this organization send their representatives here to make the world a better, safer place. We can no longer endure the consequences of…oh God, there she is! How do I look? How do I look?"

At press time, Proxmire remained oblivious to the worldwide discord she was sowing.

"Everyone here is so nice," she said. "They may be too busy to talk, but they'll go out of their way to hold the door for me, even if they have to run across the room. And if someone on the tour has a question I can't answer, there are usually a few delegates tagging along who are eager to chime in."

"All my friends wish they had this job," Proxmire added. "Even my boyfriend thinks it's cool, and he's a musician in this really awesome indie rock band."

So how does an FHA loan work? The FHA itself does not actually write the home loans. If you want to obtain an FHA mortgage, you will still be working with a traditional loan originator. You can get them from banks or mortgage loan companies.

FHA insures the home loan in the event of borrower failure to pay - which means that if the bank forecloses, FHA steps in and covers the mortgage.. FHA loans have Private Mortgage loan Insurance built into the mortgage loan - meaning if you have less than 20% equity in the residence, you have to pay for that insurance.. This insurance protects the mortgage broker from losing more than what is owed against the house in the event of foreclosure. Be careful - the leading drawback to an FHA mortgage is that the PMI insurance is obligated, and built into the mortgage loan - resulting in slightly higher payments.. When banks do not make you buy private mortgage loan insurance, they are taking on all of the risk of default.

With an FHA home loan, the FHA is taking on all of the risk. If you default on the loan, the FHA will pay the bank the amount remaining on the mortgage loan. This takes the burden off of the banks and puts it elsewhere. Therefore, the banks are now willing to make more home loans to people that they would not normally mortgage loan to. Therefore, you might be able to qualify for an FHA mortgage loan even if you have failed to meet the requirements for other programs.

One big bonus about the FHA program is that you are only obligated to put as little as 3% down.
